User Data Deletion Instructions
This page explains how users can request the deletion of personal data associated with DISSIDENTS services, including data processed through Meta, Facebook, and Instagram integrations.
What data may be affected
Depending on the service used, DISSIDENTS may process limited account-related information required to operate social publishing and workflow features, such as:
- Connected account identifiers
- Display names of connected social accounts
- Access credentials or tokens used to maintain the connection
- Basic activity or audit records related to account connection or disconnection
How to request deletion
To request deletion of your data, please send an email to:
Email: [email protected]
Subject line: User Data Deletion Request
Please include enough information for us to identify the relevant data, such as your name, business name, the email address used with us, and the Facebook Page or Instagram account connected to the service.
How to disconnect access from Meta
You may also remove the connection directly from your Meta or Facebook account settings. Removing the app from Meta does not always immediately remove all records from our systems, so we recommend sending the deletion request email above if you want complete deletion of stored data associated with the integration.
What happens after your request
Once we receive and verify your request, we will review the associated records and delete or anonymize data that is no longer required for legal, security, fraud-prevention, accounting, or contractual purposes.
We may contact you to verify your identity or request additional information before processing deletion.
Response timeline
We aim to acknowledge deletion requests within a reasonable time and complete deletion or anonymization as soon as practicable, subject to verification and any legal retention requirements.
